UniPID is a network of nine Finnish universities that seeks to advance universities’ global responsibility and strengthen their response to global challenges. The network engages actively with the multidisciplinary academic community, as well as the national funding agencies and policy makers to promote a landscape for more sustainable global academic partnerships.
The UniPID director’s position will offer you a vantage point to follow and influence the national discussions regarding the role and importance of higher education and research in global sustainable development. Through diverse partnerships, you will co-develop pathways to include themes of sustainable development and global responsibility in the universities’ work. In this position, you will facilitate cooperation between universities and with other societal actors, making use of and further developing your social interaction and strategic planning skills. You will also have the opportunity to strengthen your networks and your expertise in Finnish and international higher education and research environment.
