Course Proposals for UniPID Virtual Studies
Interested in developing or sharing a course through UniPID? The annual call for proposals is the main pathway for joining and contributing to the UniPID Virtual Studies Programme.
UniPID supports the development, renewal and sharing of online courses within the UniPID Virtual Studies Programme. UniPID aims to strengthen teaching on global development, sustainability, and global responsibility while promoting collaboration between universities and partners across different regions of the world.
Course proposals
UniPID welcomes course proposals from teachers and lecturers at member universities for inclusion in the UniPID Virtual Studies Programme. The programme supports high-quality online education on global development, sustainability, and global responsibility. UniPID particularly values courses that bring forward diverse perspectives, support collaboration across institutions and regions, and create opportunities for shared learning with partners and networks in the Global South.
What can be proposed?
The annual call includes opportunities to propose a new UniPID course or an update of an existing UniPID course. Details on the available proposal categories are provided in each annual call.
Who can submit a proposal?
Teachers and lecturers from UniPID member universities are welcome to submit proposals. Joint proposals involving international partners are encouraged.
What kind of courses is UniPID looking for?
UniPID seeks courses that:
- Address global development, sustainability or global responsibility
- Bring forward diverse perspectives
- Promote interdisciplinary learning
- Use innovative and inclusive online teaching approaches
- Foster dialogue and collaboration across institutions, disciplines, and regions
- Complement and strenghten the existing UniPID Virtual Studies Programme
Other opportunities to contribute
While the annual call is the primary mechanism for proposing courses within the UniPID Virtual Studies Programme, we are also interested in discussing opportunities to include existing courses in the Virtual Studies course catalogue outside the annual call. If you are teaching a course that aligns with the objectives of the UniPID Virtual Studies Programme, and would be interested in opening it to students across the UniPID network, please don't hesitate to contact the UniPID Coordination Unit to explore the possibilities.
