Coordination of UniPID - the Finnish University Partnership for International Development moved from the University of Jyväskylä to the University of Helsinki at the start of 2021. See what has changed here!
The decision to transfer the network coordination was made by the UniPID Board in May 2020. For more background information, see this post.
UniPID's activities remain the same: UniPID will continue to support its member universities* in integrating global responsibility and global south perspectives in their education, research, and societal impact activities and to promote international partnerships in support of sustainable development pathways. This will be done by the already familiar study and support services, such as UniPID Virtual Studies, a variety of grants to support teaching, seminars, and research partnership building, and by facilitating dialogue between researchers and decision makers.
However, some important changes, largely related to our communications, have happened because of the transfer. These are specified below.
The contact details of the coordination unit staff
The staff's email addresses and phone numbers have changed. You will find the new contact details on our Contacts-page. Please note that emails sent to the old email addresses will not be re-directed. After the remote work period at the University of Helsinki ends, UniPID offices will be found both on the Viikki campus and within the HELSUS premises in the Porthania-building.

A new UniPID mailing list (if.iknisleh@tsil-dipinu) has been established, and the old mailing list (if.uyj.stsil@dipinu) will not be used anymore. Subscriptions will not be automatically moved to the new mailing list!
Please subscribe to the new mailing list by sending an email command to if.iknisleh@omodrojam. The message body must only contain the following command: subscribe unipid-list your email address. For more detailed instructions, see our Newsletters-page.
