Global responsibility in the new international strategy for higher education and research?
UniPID hosts a panel discussion to explore the space of global responsibility in the international strategy for higher education and research at the Spring Forum for International Affairs, organized 17-18 May 2018 at Jyväskylä. The panel will discuss the opportunities, expectations, and barriers for universities to respond to global challenges in their research, education and societal responsibility.
The panel will be chaired by Leasa Weimer from the European Association for International Education (EAIE). Panelists include Tiina Vihma-Purovaara from the Ministry of Education and Culture, professor Elina Lehtomäki from the University of Oulu and rector Liisa Laakso from the University of Tampere.
