
FinCEAL+ Targeted Travel Grants for H2020 Info Days - Applications are Now Closed!
FinCEAL+ has opened targeted grants to facilitate the travel of researchers in Finnish institutions working with Africa, Asia and LAC, interested in attending H2020 Info Days on Societal Challenge 1 and Societal Challenge 2. The maximum individual grant is 800€ and can be used to cover travel, accommodation, daily allowances and/or registration fees.
FinCEAL+ has opened targeted grants to facilitate the travel of researchers in Finnish institutions working with Africa, Asia and LAC, interested in attending H2020 Info Days on Societal Challenge 1 and Societal Challenge 2.
Interested researchers should send a short description (no more than one page) detailing their interest in the event and how it relates to your work. Clear interest in applying for the H2020 call in question should be shown. Applicants with a focus purely in European cooperation do not qualify for the grant. A CV or link to your profile should also be included.
The maximum individual grant is 800€ and can be used to cover travel, accommodation, daily allowances and/or registration fees. Applicants from outside the metropolitan Helsinki area can receive an additional 100€ grant to cover their travel expenses within Finland. The deadline for applications is 31st May, 2016. Information on the Info Days
1. The Info Day for H2020 - Societal Challenge 1 (Health, demographic change and wellbeing) will take place on 8th July in Brussels. The 2017 Work Programme 2017 offers calls for proposals with an overall budget of about € 400 million. The info day will help participants find out information on the 2017 work programme, find reliable project partners, new business opportunities etc. More Information
2. The Brussels info-week on Horizon 2020 - Societal challenge 2 (Food security, sustainable agriculture and forestry, maritime and maritime inland water research and bio-economy )** calls for 2017 will take place on 27-28 June 2016. The event will provide an opportunity to learn about the calls and topics, updates on relevant past research outcomes and a possibility to meet partners in the brokerage event. More information
