New Research and Innovation Network for Europe and Africa (RINEA) Africa-EU Science, Technology and Innovation Portal is live now.

The new RINEA website is live at http://www.rinea.org. The site features sections on the RINEA project, relevant news and events, funding and support and Africa-EU Cooperation.
RINEA stands for Research and Innovation Network for Europe and Africa, a project which received received EU H2020 funding to support the EU-Africa High Level Policy Dialogue (HLPD) on science technology and innovation (STI). UniPID serves as the Co-Leader in RINEA work package two and participates in the others.
It is anticipated that RINEA will strengthen the quality and quantity of partnerships between research and innovation stakeholders in EU Member states, in Associated Countries and in Countries in Africa, encourage transnational coordination of programmes and policies for international cooperation in STI for greater coherence, joint ownership and resource efficiency and support and enrich formal and informal processes of bi-regional STI policy dialogue between the EU and Africa.
You can use the website to subscribe to RINEA's newsletter, to follow the relevant news and events, and acquire information about various funding opportunities through AU and EU grants and national instances.
