UniPID Seminar Grants for 2020

October 14, 2019

UniPID launches a Call for Proposals to support the organization of seminars on global development issues. The grants, worth up to 2000 euros, will be awarded to UniPID member universities organizing or co-organizing seminars in 2020.

The UniPID Seminar Grants Call for Proposals 2020 is now open. UniPID awards grants of up to 2000 euros for UniPID member universities to encourage and advance the achievement of Finnish universities’ global responsibility by supporting the development of curricula and academic debate related to international development issues.

The grants are intended to support multidisciplinary seminars that discuss a topic related to international development or global challenges. The seminar programme should allow for presentations by PhD students working on dissertations related to global development issues, and the seminar should also be open to participants outside of the organizing university.
