FinCEAL Plus Asia has opened a Targeted Travel Grant Call to support the participation of 1-3 senior level health experts from Finnish universities, universities of applied sciences or research institutions interested in attending the Matchmaking Tour to China (Beijing and Wuxi) organized by ENRICH-European Network of Research and Innovation Centres and Hubs, China 8-13th April 2019. Deadline for applications: 20th of March.

FinCEAL Plus Asia has opened a Targeted Travel Grant Call to support the participation of 1-3 senior level health experts from Finnish universities, universities of applied sciences or research institutions interested in attending the Matchmaking Tour to China (Beijing and Wuxi) organized by ENRICH-European Network of Research and Innovation Centres and Hubs, China 8-13^th April 2019.

Contents:

• Matchmaking with key Chinese healthcare players, pharmaceutical outsourcing companies, contract research organisations and regulation authorities

• Visits to leading Chinese Healthcare Science Parks and R&D organisations

• Introduction to business and R&D opportunities in Beijing and Wuxi

• Free access to 2019 Taihu (Mashan) Life Science and Healthcare Forum and China (Wuxi) International Medical Equipment and Pharmaceutical Supply Chain Exhibition
• Free access to Nordic Edge China – An event for sharing Smart City solutions (including smart healthcare)

• First-hand information on Chinese healthcare latest development

• Contacts with high-level representatives from EU and Chinese local clusters and stakeholders

• Connecting with ENRICH – European Network of Research and Innovation Centres and Hubs, China – to support your growth in China
• Connecting with SENET – Sino-European Health Networking Hub – a sustainable health networking and knowledge hub facilitating EU-China Healthcare cooperation

Information on this Targeted Travel Grant Call

The call is directed to health experts focusing on or interested in building further collaboration with partners in China. Please note that this call is only for senior level experts (with a strong academic background) of Finnish universities, universities of applied sciences and research institutes, and residing in Finland only, and only for this particular event. Interested researchers should send a short description detailing their interest in the event and how it relates to their work and the theme of the tour, health. A CV or link to your profile should also be included.

FinCEAL+ Asia will award 1-3 Grants. The maximum individual grants are between 1300€-1400€ depending on the destination and departure city in Finland. The Grant can be used to cover travel, accommodation, registration fee and daily allowances. The deadline for sending the travel grant applications is by Wednesday 20^th of March.
