UniPID launches a Call for Proposals to support the organization of a seminar on global development issues. The grants, worth up to 2000 euros, will be awarded to a UniPID member university¹, which is organizing or co-organizing a seminar in 2018.

The aim of the grant is to encourage and advance the achievement of Finnish universities’ global responsibility by supporting the development of curricula and academic debate related to international development issues. The grants are intended to support multidisciplinary seminars that discuss a topic related to international development or global challenges. The programme of the seminar should allow presentations by PhD students working on a dissertation related to global development issues and the seminar should also be open to participants outside of the organizing university.

To apply for the grant, please submit an application form through the following link: https://goo.gl/forms/HpFalSNfrXq8IrdF3 by 15th November 2017. The results of the call will be announced by 22nd December 2017.
