Research summary
The overall objective of the project is to strengthen the human and infrastructure capacity of EIT to create and distribute electronic learning resources and services that are pedagogically sound and locally relevant, so that the EIT can take an active and informed role in the use of ICTs to address the Eritrean development and education priorities.
Description
The project purpose is to strengthen the institutional capacity of EIT to create and distribute electronic learning resources and services by (i) improving the quality and relevance of ICT and Education courses, (ii) enhancing the information management capabilities and infrastructure of the ICT Center at EIT, (iii) creating an edtech lab for the adaptation, creation and research of learning technologies, (iv) increasing EIT’s role in coordinating national and international efforts to develop ICT infrastructure and services common to other HEIs and MoE, and (v) creating and developing EIT’s international network of collaborators in ICT, learning and wireless technology.
