My name is Bamgboye Taiwo Temitope. I am a doctoral researcher at the Water Energy and Environmental Engineering Research Unit of the University of Oulu, Finland. My research interests include climate change, urban water, energy and food nexus planning, integrated water resource management; policy analysis in developing countries; and interactions with other SDGs to create a more sustainable future and a balanced ecosystem

Omotomilola Ikotun is a researcher of the Time, Space and the Environment in Society Doctoral Programme at the University of Eastern Finland, Joensuu. Her research analyses pastoral access to water supply, pastoral inequality and the impact of environmental conflicts on borders, access to natural resources, and agriculture market access development in Nigeria and West Africa.

I am working on the Aid, Policy, and Growth nexus, which is close to development cooperation, policy intervention, and sustainable agriculture development. I am particularly interested in addressing the global shared responsibilities and contemporary issues of the food crisis, climate change, and poverty in developing countries.

Mika Kautonen, D.Sc., Adjunct Professor, is the Head of the Innovation Studies Group in TaSTI, Research Centre for Knowledge, Science, Technology and Innovation Studies, Faculty of Social Sciences, Tampere University, Finland. His and his research group's research interests relates especially to the expansion of innovation activities in present-day societies, to new stakeholder groups, sectors and countries. Therefore he is also interested in innovation activities and innovation policies in developing countries. Those innovation activities are of special interest that contributes to a more sustainable society.

Co-creation of a Namibian Smart Community (SmartCom)

I am a Doctoral student at the University of Eastern Finland. My research focuses on studying the spatio-temporal patterns of dengue fever in Medellin, Colombia (South America). Dengue fever is the most common mosquito-borne viral infection transmitted to humans. Dengue fever is present in more than 100 countries. The disease is now endemic in regions of Africa, the Americas, the Eastern Mediterranean, South East Asia, and the Western Pacific. The control of dengue has been a challenge, as these difficulties emerge from several aspects of different natures (political, ecological, socio-economical, behavioural). There is an increasing call to change how surveillance and control of dengue and other mosquito-borne diseases are currently performed since classical control has proven ineffective in reducing the morbidity and mortality caused by these infections. My research proposal attempts to add relevant knowledge that will contribute to a more integrated approach to dengue fever surveillance and control in developing countries.

Doctoral Researcher in Supply Chain Management and Social Responsibility. My current research focuses on Sustainable Procurement in Coffee Supply Chains in developing countries. My primary research interests include sustainable supply chains, halal logistics and supply chains, circular economy, and operations management. I also work as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Business Management at Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS), Indonesia. My previous appointments included serving as the Head of the Business Analytics and Strategy Laboratory at ITS, where I led the laboratory members in teaching and research activities in Operations Management and Financial Management. I have extensive consulting experience with both industry and government institutions

I am researcher with a wide experience in education policy development and implementation in developing countries, particularly in Africa. My main interests focus on inclusive education, global basic education questions, and SDG 4. Disability inclusion is an integral part of my work.
