Call for Experts to attend the 6th EU & India Science, Technology and Innovation Cooperation Days 2015, WATER FOR HEALTH in Rome, Italy, 15 to 16 Oct 2015

FinCEAL Plus Asia is looking for experts in Finnish institutions interested in attending the sixth edition of the EU-India STI cooperation days – WATER FOR HEALTH on 15-16 October 2015, held in Rome, Italy. The event is jointly organized by the INDIGO POLICY and INNO INDIGO projects.

FinCEAL Plus is looking for experts in Finnish institutions interested in attending the

6th Edition EU – India Science, Technology and Innovation Cooperation Days 2015 on 15-16 October 2015, in Rome, Italy.
Organized by the INDIGO POLICY and INNO INDIGO projects.

SMEs, researchers, and policy makers will join the event to discuss ongoing and future cooperation and to set the scene for further fruitful initiatives in the field of Science Technology and Innovation. The EU-India STI Cooperation Days aim at supporting new research and business networks on issues of priority interest for both regions, and to promote funding opportunities offered by the EU, India, bilateral programmes and by industry.

This edition will be in particular focused on clean water for health, in order to maximize future scientific and business collaboration in this field. During the event market opportunities in Europe and India for entrepreneurs will be explored and innovative technologies will be showcased. The event will also support the linking of existing bilateral and multilateral projects on water research.

• A policy Wastewater Management including applications to Industry and Agriculture
• Green Chemistry applied to Water Purification including Drinking Water Purification
• Development and applications of membrane technology in water purification/sanitation
• Membrane bioreactor applications at domestic and industrial wastewater management
• Reuse of municipal/industrial wastewater

FinCEAL Plus ASIA is now gathering a delegation of experts from different Finnish universities, universities of applied sciences and research centres to participate the event. The chosen experts will receive a max. 900€ FinCEAL Plus Targeted Travel Grant to cover expenses related to travel, accommodation and daily allowances.

To apply, please send a short description (no more than one page) detailing your interest in the event, i.e. why do you want to attend, how the event is related to your work and what is the expected benefit of the event for you and your institution.
