Africa at Universities Workshop in Turku

UniPID, Åbo Akademi University and the University of Turku will be hosting a joint workshop that provides an overview of research and projects linked to Africa. The workshop will be held Tuesday October 23rd, 2012 at 12.00-16.00 at Åbo Akademi University, ASA Fänriksgatan 3, Lilla Auditoriet (next to Café Fänriken).

The joint workshop of the Finnish University Partnership for International Development (UniPID), Åbo Akademi University and the University of Turku aims at giving researchers and staff at the universities an overview of the research and projects that are linked to Africa. The workshop will be held Tuesday October 23rd, 2012 at 12.00-16.00 at Åbo Akademi University, ASA Fänriksgatan 3, Lilla Auditoriet (next to Café Fänriken).

Despite differences in the area of cooperation or subject of study, there is a multitude of potential synergies, benefits, and possibilities to be derived from the networking of researchers and projects. The workshop aims at encouraging active interaction between participants, with UniPID, and with other relevant actors, to support development research and educational collaboration in Africa.
