FinCEAL Plus has opened a Targeted Travel Grant Call to support the participation of experts from Finnish universities or research institutions interested in attending the ICT Proposer's Day 2017 in Budapest, Hungary, on November 9-10.
Information on event
The event will focus on the Horizon 2020 Work Programme 2018-20 in the field of Information & Communication Technologies. It will offer an exceptional opportunity to build quality partnerships with academics, researchers, industrial stakeholders, SMEs and government actors from all over Europe.
The programme will include:
Information sessions on how to prepare and submit a proposal;
Information stands on the ICT-related topics of the Work Programme 2018-20 and the content of the calls for proposals;
A European Commission information desk to supply information on the content and logistics of the event;
Networking sessions where potential proposers present their project ideas, organised according to the Pillars and Topics of the Work Programme 2018-20;
Booths, organised by village, which serve as meeting points for people interested in the same research topics;
Ample space for informal networking and bilateral meetings between participants;
Workshops and Face2Face Brokerage.
Information on the Travel Grants
The call is directed to experts focusing on or interested in building collaboration with partners from the FinCEAL Plus regions (Africa, Asia & LAC). Please note that this call is for researchers residing in Finland only, and only for this particular event. Interested researchers should send a short description detailing their interest in the event and how it relates to their work. A CV or link to your profile should also be included.
The maximum individual grant
is 800€ and can be used to cover travel, accommodation, and daily allowances.
Applicants from outside the metropolitan Helsinki area can receive max. 200€ in
addition to the grant to cover their travel expenses within Finland. The deadline for applications is Friday, September 15th.
