The ASEAN-EU Science, Technology and Innovation Days was organised at the Meliá Hanoi Hotel in Hanoi and was attended more than 400 participants. The host, the National Centre for Scientific and Technological Information in Vietnam (NASATI), did an excellent job both in terms of organisation and content. FinCEAL Plus attended the event with a delegation of four Finnish experts in the fields of health, renewable energy and food security and safety. The ASEAN-EU Science, Technology and Innovation Days serve as a visible forum for cooperation activities between the two regions in the field of STI and was initiated by the European Comission’s 7th Framework Programme funded SEA-EU-NET II project. The STI Days are an ideal occasion for networking and exchange of ideas in thematic areas like Health, Environment, Water, Food Security & Safety or Innovation with a brokerage event connected to the previously mentioned topics. The event takes place annually, alternating between an ASEAN and a European country. High-level policy makers as well as many research projects and companies seize the chance to network, discuss, exchange and inform themselves.

This year the event was organised at the Meliá Hanoi Hotel in Hanoi and was attended more than 400 participants.
