FinCEALPlus is looking for an expert based in a Finnish university or a research center interested in attending the SAIREC 2015: Re-energizingAfrica, October 4.-7. 2015, Cape Town, South Africa.
Convened bythe Renewable Energy Policy Network for the 21st Century (REN21), IREC is a high-level political conference series hosted by a national government. Held for the first time in Africa, this international conference looks exclusively at renewables. Under the theme of RE-energising Africa, SAIREC 2015 is the place to discuss the renewables value chain whether you are in business, government, research or a practitioner who works on improving access to clean, low carbon energy sources. The 6th International Renewable Energy Conference is hosted by the South African Department of Energy together with the South African National Energy Development Institute (SANEDI). SAIREC 2015 provides a global platform for government ministers, high-level decision makers, experts, specialists as well as private sector players and civil society, to discuss and exchange their vision, experiences and solutions to accelerate the global scale-up of renewable energy.
FinCEALPlus will offer a max. 1800 € travel grant to cover the expensesof the selected participant from Finland. Please note, that this grant is open only for experts on Africa and Asia.
To apply,please send a short description (no more than one page) detailing your interest in the event, i.e. why do you want to attend, how the event is related to your work and what is the expected benefit of the event for you and your institution.
