Call for experts to attend the Info week on H2020 SC2 WP 2016 2017 Food security, sustainable agriculture and forestry, maritime research and bioeconomy

UniPID/FinCEAL Plus is looking for experts in Finnish institutions interested in attending the

Info week on Horizon2020 Societal Challenge 2 Work Programme 2016-2017: Food security, sustainable agriculture and forestry, maritime and maritime inland water research and bio-economy in Brussels, Belgium, from 24th to 27th November 2015.  

The Infoweek is an opportunity to learn more about and find partners for the upcoming calls in the new H2020 Work Programme 2016/2017 for Societal Challenge 2: Food security, sustainable agriculture and forestry, maritime and maritime inland water research and bio-economy. The week includes a workshop on the multi-actor approach and thematic networks, followed by the infoday, and a brokerage event to facilitate partnering for the upcoming calls. UniPID/FinCEAL Plus is now gathering together a delegation of experts from different Finnish universities, universities of applied sciences and research centres, who are planning to apply for funding from the upcoming Work Programme in any of the mentioned theme areas together with partners from the FinCEAL Plus target regions: Africa, Asia and/or Latin America and the Caribbean. The travel and accommodation expenses of the chosen experts will be covered by FinCEAL Plus.

To apply, please send a short description (no more than one page) detailing your interest in the event, i.e. why do you want to attend, what is the expected benefit of the event for you and your institution, and which of the theme(s) of the Infoweek you are interested in. Please mention also the potential partners from Africa, Asia and/or the LAC region you are planning to collaborate with. A CV or link to your profile should also be included.
