FinCEAL Plus has opened a Targeted Travel Funding Call to support the participation of one expert from a Finnish university or a research institution interested in attending the Africa Health Conference and Exhibition in Johannesburg 5 - 7 May 2015.
Africa Health is the continent’s largest healthcare exhibition. The exhibition is expected to attract more than 7000 healthcare professionals and host 500 of the world’s leading healthcare suppliers, manufacturers and service providers. A wide variety of plenaries, panel discussions, workshops, demonstrations and interactive activities will be offered at the following 13 CPD-accredited conferences:

The event provides a good opportunity to meet and network with people from every aspect of healthcare. Last year the event attracted participants from 53 countries.
The call is directed to experts whose geographic focus is on Africa.
The maximum individual grant is 1500 euros and can be used to cover travel, accommodation, daily allowances and the registration fee.
To apply, please send a short description (no more than one page) detailing your interest in the event i.e. why do you want to attend, what is the benefit of attending for you and your institution and how does the event relate to your work. A CV or link to your profile should also be included. Please note that this call is for researchers residing in Finland only, and only for this particular event.
