African Community Access Programme (AFCAP) put out a call for concept notes on rural transport and plans to commission a small number of research papers pertaining to significant knowledge gaps in rural transport and, in particular, Transport Services in sub-Saharan Africa.
Therefore, it is now inviting project proposals from individuals, non-governmental organisations, firms, universities and similar organisations with experience in this area. The studies may incorporate not only desk-based research, reviewing and reflecting on findings from published and grey literature, but also a small component of field research.

The duration of the project should be a maximum of 4 months with an indicative budget of £30,000 per Concept Note Project.

Please note that the deadline is very close: Monday 8th July 2013 midday BST for short Concept Notes.
