FinCEAL Plus Call for Travel Grants for PhD students focusing on the LAC region

FinCEAL Plus launches a Rolling Call for Open Travel Grants for PhD students focusing on the LAC region.

We are pleased to announce a Rolling Call for FinCEAL Plus Open Travel Grants for PhD students focusing on the LAC region!

The Call is open to PhD students based in Finnish research institutions, who are working within the FinCEAL Plus LAC themes, to facilitate their participation in:

a) Consortia or networking meetings with European LAC partners with the purpose of applying for EU-research funding, e.g. Horizon 2020, ERA-NET Calls, EuropeAid research calls (only calls with research element are eligible);

b) Regionally significant Science, Technology, and Innovation (STI) meetings, policy dialogue events, workshops; or

c) Networking meetings, events or conferences within the LAC thematic areas: ICT for societal challenges, Bioeconomy, Renewable Energy, Health, Biodiversity and Climate Change.

Applicants should have an active role in the event, e.g. paper presentation or similar. Priority will be given to events of a bi-regional nature, e.g. that involve participants from several European LAC countries. Priority will be given to students who are at middle or late-stage of their PhD studies and who have not previously received FinCEAL Plus travel grants.

Applicants will receive a notification within 15 days of submitting the application.
