UniPID aims at establishing long-standing research and education co-operation based on partnerships and durable personnel and institutional contacts between Finland and universities in the developing and transition countries.

UniPID's Objectives

• Enable Finnish universities to fulfil their role in the promotion and implementation of sustainable development
• To foster the exchange of knowledge between Finnish universities and universities in developing and transition countries by strengthening their   partnerships in the fields of research and higher education
• To link Finnish universities to national, European and global sustainable development networks
