UniPID launches a call to support the fieldwork for Master’s theses on global development issues. The grants of up to 1000 euros will be awarded to individuals who are in the process of collecting data and writing their Master’s theses and whose thesis process would benefit from a travel grant to a destination outside Finland.

FinCEAL Plus Asia has published an online Questionnaire on Science, Technology and Innovation Cooperation between Finland and Southeast Asian countries The objective of this anonymous questionnaire is to gather information on the perspectives of scientists working in Finnish institutions on the current status, future opportunities and barriers regarding cooperation in Science (Research), Technology and/or Innovation (STI) with Southeast Asian countries. The information gathered via the questionnaire will be used in the formulation of the "Finnish STI cooperation with Southeast Asia" Policy Brief developed by FinCEAL+ and University of Helsinki in 2018.

CALLS FOR FUNDING UNDER THE FINCEAL PLUS PARTNERSHIP SUPPORT INSTRUMENT

FinCEAL Plus has launched calls for funding on a rolling basis for researchers based in Finnish Higher Education Institutions and Independent Research Institutions. The purpose of the grants is to support partnership building activities between the Finnish science community and their counterparts in Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Caribbean. The Call for grants relating to cooperation with Africa and LAC has closed on 31st May, 2018. Funding is still available for activities related to Asia.
