UniPID offers Virtual Studies courses to all students belonging to UniPID's Member Universities. Virtual Studies are provided on a variety of Sustainable Development topics and students have the opportunity to complete a minor in development studies as well.

For Researchers

UniPID connects researchers to a network of researchers and institutions across Finland and developing nations. UniPID offers valuable research resources and tools, hosts roundtables and training events,  news alerts to research and funding opportunities and more.  

For Partners

UniPID partners with development institutions and networks to strengthen research capacity and promote sustainable development. In the field of research and higher education, UniPID promotes opportunities, projects, activities and more. 

Virtual Studies

The UniPID Virtual Studies programme, Sustainability in Development, is comprised of a collection of online courses, each worth 5 ECTS, offered for free to all Member University students and suitable for both undergraduate and postgraduate students. 

Each year, UniPID offers funding for new courses and updates its course catalogue.

FinCEAL

FinCEAL (Developing Finnish Science, Technology and Innovation Cooperation between Europe, Africa and the LAC Region) is an initiative by the Finnish Ministry of Education and Culture with the purpose of increasing support for Finnish researchers focusing on Africa and the Latin America and the Caribbean region.
